Path = AMUG 15:Files:Game:H-L:Life 1.5 FAT.sit
Size: 26K Date: 1/30/95
Description:
Life 1.5 FAT - This is a simple implementation of Life that I wrote just to
see how fast it would run on a PowerMac. It is supposed to look like
bacteria cells in a Petri dish (pretend they are your favorite bacteria).
Life is a fat binary - native code for both 68020+ and PowerPC. It
requires System 7 or later but is happiest with System 7.5 or System 7
with the Thread Manager (Thread Manager is not required).
Name = Spiked 1.0.sit
Path = AMUG 15:Files:Game:S:Spiked 1.0.sit
Size:244K Date: 1/27/95
Description:
Spiked 1.0 - Spiked is an arcade-style two-player game in which two orbs
attempt to kill their opponent by shoving him/her into a spike. You can
bounce off walls, each other, and more! In addition, your flight path is
modified by three traps - speeders, nexi, and mirrors. Speeders juice up
your speed (obvious, huh?). Nexi (pl. of nexus) trap you for about 3
seconds. Mirrors bounce you into spikes. Also, you can receive an immunity
to one of these traps at a time by running over buttons. Therefore, your
objective is to push your opponent into spikes, traps, or a combination of
the two, until s/he dies.

Zonks do not fall on your head! When you've eaten enough, you can exit to
the next level. There are 50 levels (ranging from difficult to
near-impossible), each with new tricks, traps, objects, and obstacles, and
each level is harder to solve than the last. To complete a level, you must
collect a certain number of infotrons and safely exit the level, without
getting killed. All movement is controlled by the keyboard. This is a
thinking game (versus an action game). Shareware, $10.

responds to the mouse or keyboard. Keyboard movement uses the arrow keys,
the numeric keypad, or i-j-k-l. K, comma, spacebar, 5, 2, and 0 all move

effect as pressing keys. Each move must be either vertical or horizontal;
no diagonal moves are allowed. Holding down shift while pressing one of
the directional keys or clicking in the same row or column as the man will
make the man move in that direction as far as he can.

Description:
Calc 6.0 - Calculation is a System 7 friendly solitare game. It has been
tested for compatibility with 32-bit addressing. A move may be made either
by double-clicking or dragging. If there are several legal destinations
for the card or pile you double-clicked, Calculation makes the best move
it finds. Shuffling has been improved using Apple's recommended technique
to apply their pseudo-random number generator. The Options menu has been
simplified with regard to color and animation choices. A new item on the
File menu, Import allows you to import the total game count and high
scores from an earlier version of the game, so you can preserve your
